Pink Hygiene has raised additional funds for Breast Cancer Now by participating in the pinkest event of the year- Wear it Pink 2015.
As part of Breast Cancer Awareness month, staff at Pink Hygiene got into the spirit of things by dressing in pink attire to raise much needed money to support the lifesaving breast cancer research that Breast Cancer Now invest in.
The money raised could help the charity tell 7,500 women about the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, so they can get unusual changes checked out early. Alternatively it could help buy microscope slides to help researchers study cancer cells in minute detail, to find out as much about this disease as possible.
Adam Speck, Join Managing Directors says: “When we set up Pink Hygiene one of the key drivers behind it was that I wanted to give something back and help support the challenge of finding a cure for this abhorrent illness, having lost my aunt to breast cancer in 2012. As one of our key business principles and one of our ‘Pinky Promises’, we continue to donate a percentage of the annual contract value for every new customer signed to Breast Cancer Now, in addition to participating in as many charity events as possible, to raise as much as possible”.
Along with their latest donation based on customer contracts signed in the last quarter, Pink Hygiene’s total to date now stands at an impressive £5,429.00.
